Leatherback Roasters is a specialty coffee roastery based in Longwood, Florida, dedicated to sourcing exceptional coffees and roasting them with precision. Our mission is to offer some of the best coffees in Florida and to help other businesses do the same through quality partnerships.

Founded by Nathan and Grace Frey, a husband-and-wife team with years of hands-on experience in the coffee industry, Leatherback Roasters grew from a desire to do things differently. After working behind the bar and honing their craft in cafés, they set out to create a roastery focused on quality, sustainability, and community.

Since opening our roasting facility in 2023, we’ve become known for delivering high-quality specialty coffee that creates an experience worth savoring. Today, we proudly supply some of Orlando’s best multi-roaster cafés and retailers, including Craft & Common, Framework Craft Coffee, and Fable Coffee & Pastries.

What sets Leatherback apart is our exclusive focus on roasting. Unlike many coffee roasters in Central Florida, we don’t operate a café, which allows us to pour our energy into supporting our wholesale coffee partners. From sourcing standout coffees to providing training, equipment guidance, and consultation, we help cafés, restaurants, and retailers build exceptional coffee programs.
