Coffee: 30g (adjust as desired; maintain a 1:16 coffee-to-water ratio)
Water: 480g (see above)
Water Temperature: 200-205°F
Grind Size: Coarse
Brew Time: 10:00
Step One
0:00 - 5:00
Add 30g of coarse-ground coffee to the French Press. Pour in 480g of hot water, ensuring all the grounds are evenly saturated. Let it steep undisturbed for 5 minutes.
Step Two
5:00 - 10:00
At the 5-minute mark, use a spoon to gently break the crust that has formed on top and give the coffee a light stir. Replace the lid and let it steep for another 5 minutes.
Step Three
10:00
After 10 minutes, slowly and gently press the plunger down until the grounds are fully separated from the coffee. Avoid pressing too hard to minimize sediment.
Carefully pour the coffee and enjoy!
